Pre Wedding Mailing

Mom and I sent out the Pre Wedding Mailing to all of our cruise guests yesterday.  Hopefully this will get our guests prepared for the cruise!! 

The contents included:
2 luggage tags per guest
Brochure from Patrick and I with advice and tips based on our experiences as well as event timelines
Travel Tips brochure from Bermuda Tourism
Bermuda's Handy Reference Map
Sightseeing & Activities booklet from Bermuda Tourism

Pre-Cruise Mailing - Luggage tags designed and Brochures are complete

I accomplished a few things this weekend. I had a migraine Saturday after pool league, imagine that. That is pretty much a given for me. So, I took my meds and stayed up until about 11 b/c I knew that as soon as I went to sleep I would be out for a few hours and then wide awake. It's what the drugs do to me. So, at 3 am I was wide awake and started working on my Pre-cruise mailing brochure. It is complete!! I decided to go try to get a bit more sleep. After just under 2 hrs I was up again. What's next? Ahhh, Luggage tags! It took me a while to come up w/ a design that I liked, but here is the final look.  The colors are off in the pictures.  They all match the wedding colors that were in the invitations which is closer to a Carlina Blue and Brown.   I'll be printing the design on Card Stock and will write each person's information on the back.  Then I will insert the cards in badge holders that we ordered from E-Bay. On Saturday we won an E-Bay auction for the luggage tag loops. When they get here I'll get all the brochures, information and luggage tags to send to the guests. Things are coming right along!

Invitations are in the Mail

I sent out majority of the invitations yesterday afternoon. Patrick is still waiting on a few addresses. We will have the rest sent out by the end of the week!!! Woo hoo! Another thing to check off the list.

Pre-departure Mailing Package

I will be sending out a pre-departure package to each of the guests in the next month or two.

The contents include:
1. A brochure or newsletter including a time line, events, guest locator, and our own personal tips and advice about the cruise ship and Bermuda
2. Bermuda Tourism maps and island details.
3. Luggage tags

I'll be making personalized luggage tags that will match the OOT (out of town) bags. More details about the OOT bag to come in a later entry.

I received the package today from Bermuda tourism! Woo hoo! It has the very useful map, a brochure with travel advice about Bermuda, and another booklet with info about what to do and see. Yay! :)

My personalized brochure is almost finished. In the images the dots won't be there when printed, it's just editing stuff from Publisher.  Also, I've disolved some of the private information.
