The bands

Patrick received a call this week letting him know that our wedding bands came in.  Yesterday we went down to Diamonds Direct in South Park to make sure they fit and to check them out.  Of course the annoying vulture guy tried to snatch us up.  You could see the disappointment when he realized that we had already bought our rings from someone else and that we were only there to look at them.  We really liked the lady that we worked with.  She was very nice.  I like it when a salesperson doesn't breathe down your neck and pressure you into buying something you don't want.  She did just that.  She let us shop, gave advice and opinions only when we wanted it and we ended up with two great pieces.  I'm horrible with names, but I will uupdate the blog with her info when I look up the documentation.  Funny thing is that she kinda looks like our photographer in Bermuda.

Both of our rings fit just right and look great!  They also look great together.  YaY!  Score!!!! We took pictures, but the lighting is so bright in there and the rings sparkle so much that we were not able to get great shots.  I know, what a shame that they sparkle!!!  :)  You can at least get the idea of what they look like.  In six weeks, we will be waking up with them on for the first time!  :)

Wedding Bands ordered

We went to Diamonds Direct and found our wedding bands yesterday night. Patrick was so cute when we picked out mine. He wanted to see it from up close far away and looked at so many options to make sure I had just the right band to go w/ the engagement ring. We forgot to take pictures....oops. But I can give you a sort of description. Will call them today and see if they have stock photos. My ring is a Platinum Princess Cut Channel band. I went with a smaller carat weight because the bigger ones just took too much away from my princess solitaire engagement ring. Patrick and I are both confident that there isn't a better band than the one we chose! :) Patrick chose a Palladium 7MM Crushed Center Band. It looks great on his finger. Very masculine with brushed white medal in the center and polished on the outside. It looks really good on him. The rings will be available in 4-6 weeks. Another thing to check off from the still very long list of to do's!!
